The big news from Gearbox at E3–besides the whole movie thing–is Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, a new Borderlands spinoff game with a star-studded cast. That’ll include Ashly Burch as Tiny Tina, of course, but also Will Arnett as the big bad Dragon Lord and both Wanda Sykes and Andy Samberg in unspecified roles.

We got a good look at Wonderlands thanks to a pair of trailers that have been released over the course of E3 and Summer Game Fest, and now we have a few new screenshots to share courtesy of Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford.

Two of the shots confirm what we already knew; there are dragons and skeletons in this fantasy looter shooter. But two other screenshots show off more of the game’s setting. One shot is of a pretty typical medieval castle, while the other looks like a potential goblin warren located deep in mountainous terrain.

Besides that, we know that there will be magic spells and some form of character customization, although Gearbox hasn’t specified exactly what this customization will entail, and it’ll have Butt Stallion. You remember Butt Stallion from Borderlands 2, right? The diamond bicorn with magic powers? Yeah, she’s back, and we suspect Wonderlands will be full of Borderlands references.

Gearbox also recently announced that Wonderlands will have a whole bunch of merch coming ahead of the game’s release thanks to a new partnership with Retail Monster. Thi will include toys, collectibles, accessories, a tie-in comic from Dark Horse Comics, and of course Funko Pop! figurines.

As to the only other thing that Gearbox revealed at E3 this year, the Borderlands movie continues filming in Hungary. And if you were worried about Kevin Hart not being up to playing a serious character like Roland, don’t be. Apparently Hart “showed up prepared” by training with Navy Seals in weapons and hand-to-hand combat.

“It’s all about the shock factor,” Hart added. “This is me stepping into action full speed ahead, no comedy. I’m responsible for the action.”

We’ll see just what Hart means when the movie releases in 2022.
