Although Version 1.5 of Genshin Impact has only just begun, fans are looking ahead at the next major update. The Version 1.6. content won’t arrive for another month or so, but several leaks have already started to surface online. One of these includes Kazuha, a new character who’s allegedly playable in the next update. Here’s everything fans should know about the latest Genshin Impact character leaks and rumors.
A lot of the latest leaks come from the 1.6 beta test for Genshin Impact, where some lucky fans are getting to catch a glimpse of the new content a bit early. When the 1.5 beta happened, leaks regarding Eula, Yanfei, and the new housing system all surfaced online, which means these latest Kazuha leaks for 1.6 seem pretty credible already. However, developer miHoYo still hasn’t officially confirmed anything, so it’s best to take these leaks with a grain of salt.
A number of leaks regarding Version 1.6 of Genshin Impact have appeared lately, hinting at boat travel and the new Inazuma region. Now, playable character leaks point to Kazuha appearing in the 1.6 update. Kazuha is a friend of Beidou’s from the nation of Inazuma, and he’ll allegedly be a part of the main story content when players travel by boat to get to the new region.
Genshin Impact 1.6: Kazuha’s Possible Release Date Explained
According to the leaks that have been shown for Kazuha already, he’s a 5-star Anemo user who wields swords in combat. Many of the Ascension materials that have leaked online for Kazuha can’t be farmed just yet, since they come from the Inazuma region, so players probably won’t be able to get an early start on material farming until the 1.6 update of Genshin Impact arrives.
It seems highly likely Kazuha will be a playable character in Genshin Impact soon, so the biggest question now is regarding his actual release date. miHoYo updates the game every six weeks, and since Version 1.5 only released on April 28, that means it will be June 9 before Version 1.6 comes out. So, chances are likely that Kazuha will be a Banner character around that same time.
Until miHoYo officially announces something, which usually doesn’t happen until one of the company’s livestreams, there’s no way to know for sure. However, given that most of the leaks from 1.5 turned out to be real, the 1.6 leaks for Genshin Impact seem pretty likely, too. With new boat travel, the Inazuma region, and a playable character like Kazuha, there seems to already be a lot for fans of Genshin Impact to be excited for in the next update.
