Eula is the next expected playable character in Genshin Impact. The ever-growing roster of new characters is a major selling point for the free-to-play RPG from miHoYo, and new Banners are almost always an exciting time. For those interested in having Eula join their teams, here’s everything to know about her Banner release date so far.
Thanks to the Genshin Impact 1.5 beta test, Eula was leaked well before miHoYo officially confirmed her. The Cryo user and claymore wielder is expected to be incredibly powerful, and as a 5-star character, she’ll be pretty rare to pull through the game’s Wish system. Her new Banner will boost those chances a bit, but players will still need a good bit of luck if they want to recruit her.
Eula’s Banner will follow the current Zhongli Banner rerun, which also featured Version 1.5’s new playable character: Yanfei. While Yanfei and a boosted chance at Zhongli are great, it’s been a while since Genshin Impact had a new 5-star playable character on a Banner. For this reason, perhaps more than any others, there’s a lot of hype surrounding Eula right now. So, just when will Eula’s Banner release in Genshin Impact 1.5?
When Eula’s Banner Should Be Added To Genshin Impact 1.5
Officially, there’s no word from miHoYo on when Eula’s Banner is releasing in Genshin Impact. However, since Eula is being added during Version 1.5 – and based on previous staggered character releases – there are some educated guesses to be made. Until there’s official confirmation, the likeliest release date for Eula’s Banner is May 19, 2021. Depending on time zones and country, some players may find the Banner in-game by May 18.
This would be right around the time miHoYo usually adds in new Banners after a major content update, since new character Banners are typically introduced about halfway through the content. It would also mean Eula is rounding out Version 1.5 before Genshin Impact 1.6 releases in June. As the shine starts to wear off of the 1.5 content, adding in a Eula Banner is a great way to keep players interested, to get them coming back to the game, and to get them spending Primogems on Wishes. So, it makes a lot of sense why miHoYo would release Eula around this time.
Until miHoYo officially announces a release date for the Eula Banner, it seems like May 19, 2021, is the best guess. For the many fans out there who want Eula on their teams, that hopefully means they won’t have to wait much longer until she’s finally arrived in Genshin Impact.
