Although Version 1.6 of Genshin Impact is nearing its halfway point, a lot of fans are looking ahead to the next big content update. Presumably, this will finally show off the Inazuma region and bring about a host of new quests, characters, Domains, and more. Even now, alleged leaks continue to show up and spread online. Here are the biggest ones that fans should know about.

Admittedly, one of the biggest leaks for Genshin Impact’s Inazuma update is the nation itself. Based on real-world Japan, Inazuma is all about the Electro element. Leaks from the 1.6 beta hinted at Inazuma, although these turned out to be images from the Golden Apple Archipelago, part of the new Midsummer Island Adventure content. Now, images from the latest beta test have shown off Inazuma even more – and it’s assumed the Electro nation will finally debut.

So far, miHoYo has mostly only shown off official concept artwork of Inazuma. However, an entire map of Genshin Impact’s Inazuma leaked online earlier this month, although its validity is still a matter of debate. For those excited about the next big update for the free-to-play RPG, here are some of the biggest leaks that have shown up online already.

Genshin Impact Inazuma Update Leak – Yoimiya, Sayu, & Ayaka

As with any new update for Genshin Impact, one of the most exciting aspects is new playable characters. Yoimiya and Ayaka were both the subjects of speculation and rumors, but they were actually confirmed by miHoYo recently alongside a new playable character for Genshin Impact named Sayu. Although it’s still unclear when these characters will be appearing in-game, it’s likely they’ll finally arrive in the next update.

Genshin Impact Inazuma Update Leak – Gardening & Boat Travel

Perhaps not as exciting as the prospect of new characters, the Inazuma update is also expected to bring in several new mechanics to existing systems. One of these is gardening in the Serenitea Pot, something that’s been shown off before but has yet to appear.

The other is more expansive boat travel. Since Inazuma is an island nation, it’s presumed players will need to use a boat to get around better. A precursor to this is the Waverider event in Genshin Impact, which lets players test out a small skiff.

Genshin Impact Inazuma Update Leak – Electro Powers

As the story progresses, the Traveler (the player’s character) gains new Elemental abilities in Genshin Impact. So far, the Traveler knows Anemo and Geo abilities, so it’s expected that they’ll learn Electro moves next. Since Inazuma is an Electro nation, this makes a lot of sense, so it’s a pretty sure bet this will be a part of the Inazuma update whenever it arrives.

Genshin Impact Inazuma Update Leak – Archon Baal

Perhaps the biggest mystery right now is what Baal, Inazuma’s Archon, looks like. A leaked Kazuha cutscene appears to show off Baal, who’s also known as Raiden Shogun, in silhouette form. Despite several leaks appearing online (most of which were Raiden Mei from Honkai Impact 3rd), Baal’s true identity still remains a mystery for now.

While miHoYo has still confirmed very little about the next update, it’s assumed that Inazuma will be appearing. This means new characters, quests, events, and weapons will also be arriving. If all of these leaks and rumors turn out to be true, it could be the biggest update to Genshin Impact yet.
