Genshin Impact’s upcoming four-star character Kujou Sara just received her character demo trailer, and it opens with a threat to those who dare cross the almighty Raiden Shogun.

Mihoyo revealed back during Genshin Impact’s 2.0 special announcement live stream that Kujou Sara would make her way to the game’s roster, and that day is quickly approaching. She’s the general of the Tenryou Comission, serving Baal’s conquest to eliminate Visions from the world. Sara’s role so far has her fiercely loyal to the oppressive Raiden Shogun, and if you’re caught up with Inazuma’s questline, then you’ve already faced her army once before.

Sara isn’t playing about the will of the Shogun, she threatens as much multiple times in her new video. While her clan has always served Baal, Mihoyo’s description notes that it’s not only her “duty” but it’s also her “sincere desire” to make sure the oppressive ruler’s obsession with manifesting Eternity is carried out—so no more arguing about whether or not she’s just there based on familial ties.

Genshin Impact’s Thunderous Devotion is, you guessed it, another Electro user. She joins the official roster alongside Fischl as a bow user for the element, and early data mines reveal her kit may be an excellent support setup for other Electro characters. Sara seems like she may kind of do what Bennett does in the same sort of role. Also, you may want to pay close attention to Sara’s dodge in the demo, as it looks like she’ll have an excellent teleport mechanic for a four-star character.

If you don’t feel like spending primogems any time soon, Mihoyo still has an additional character on the way for you, Aloy will finally arrive in Teyvat on September 1 for PS4 and PS5 users, while those of you on PC and mobile will have to wait a bit. She’s a free five-star, but she may not work the way you expect.

Genshin Impact’s Inazuma update may have been one of it’s biggest yet, but some parts have left fans upset. Yoimiya’s release, in particular, has been a sore spot, as folks who picked her up aren’t happy with the pyro user’s difficult kit and weak place in the meta. Mihoyo’s anniversary event has also been causing a bit of a fuss, as some players think the company is being quite stingy.
