A number of quality indie titles are now up to 50% off on the North American Nintendo eShop, as part of the Annapurna Interactive Publisher sale.

Annapurna Interactive is a video game publisher that has been active since the end of 2016. The company’s games have included plenty of bizarre, but heart-warming titles that have gone on to win multiple awards. Annapurna has also published older indie gaming titles on modern platforms, such as the Nintendo Switch/iOS versions of Gone Home.

The North American eShop is currently holding a sale on Annapurna Interactive titles. According to NintendoSoup, the sale includes Ashen for $23.99, Donut County for $6.49, Florence for $4,49, Gone Home for $7.49, Gorogoa for $7.49, Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition for $18.74, Sayonara Wild Hearts for $9.74, Telling Lies for $15.99, and What Remains of Edith Finch for $9.99. The sale will run until May 28.

Ashen is an action RPG in the vein of the Souls series. Donut County is a puzzle game where the player controls a hole that has to swallow every item into the ground. Florence is a short puzzle game that follows a love story. Gone Home is considered by many to be the first “walking simulator”, as the player explores an empty house and reads notes lefts behind by the previous occupants. Gorogoa is a puzzle game where the player has to manipulate panels to create images. Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition is a point and click adventure game about a truck driver traveling across Kentucky. Sayonara Wild Hearts is an action/rhythm game that is similar to Rez. Telling Lies is an FMV game where the player needs to watch recorded video messages in order to solve a crime. What Remains of Edith Finch is a first-person exploration game, where the player needs to learn the fate of different members of the Finch family.

The Annapurna Interactive sale has some top-quality games, with titles like Florence, Telling Lies, and Sayonara Wild Hearts. One common complaint about most of the games on the list is that they are pretty short, especially Gone Home and Florence, which is why many people hold off on buying them initially. For the people who are curious to try out those games, now is the time to take the plunge.
