What Are Legendary Weapons?
Legendary weapons are unique pieces of equipment that have high base damage and often come equipped with special effects. There are tons of different legendary weapons to obtain throughout Teer Fradee; however, some of them are much stronger than others.
How Do You Obtain Legendary Weapons?
There isn’t one way to obtain legendary weapons; instead, there are many different methods. The most common ways to find a legendary weapon are inside chests, upon the defeat of a boss, or as a reward for completing a quest.
If you want to collect many legendary weapons, then you should search every area and complete side quests since these are the most common ways to acquire this powerful equipment.
Does Every Weapon Type Have Legendary Weapons?
One of the most important things to learn about legendary weapons is that every weapon type has legendary weapons to collect. Since every adventurer has a unique build, it’s important that you have access to a few powerful weapons. Melee weapons, guns, and even rings all have special legendary variants that are encountered throughout GreedFall.
Can You Upgrade Legendary Weapons?
Similar to other types of equipment, you can upgrade legendary weapons at a crafting table. Crafting tables are found all throughout Teer Fradee, including in the loading areas between zones. After locating a crafting table, you can select your weapon and how you want to upgrade it.
Each weapon may have up to three separate upgrade slots. Before you can upgrade any of your weapons, you’ll need to unlock the Craftsmanship talent, so you’ll have to dedicate your build to crafting to an extent if you want to upgrade your equipment.
The Best Legendary Weapons In GreedFall
There are a lot of weapons to choose from in GreedFall, so narrowing down the best few weapons for each type is essential to creating the strongest character possible. Although there are many legendary weapons, some are stronger than others, so you should learn how to get the best of the best equipment.
Ring Of Divine Fury
The Ring Of Divine Fury is one of the highest-quality rings in GreedFall. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many powerful rings, so obtaining this one is essential for builds based around this weapon type. You can earn the Ring Of Divine Fury by defeating the boss during the quest “In Pursuit Of The Tierna Harh Cadachtas”.
The ring will enter your inventory upon completing the boss fight. The Ring Of Divine Fury has a Quality Rating of 94 and a lot of extra Fury Generation.
Hammer Of The Forgotten God
There aren’t too many one-handed hammers in GreedFall, which is why the Hammer Of The Forgotten God is such a unique weapon. The Hammer Of The Forgotten God is encountered early in the storyline of GreedFall; all you have to do is complete the quest “The Man With The Silver Coin”, and help the Coin Guard.
Additionally, you can also obtain this hammer by reaching a Friendly reputation with the Coin Guard. The Hammer Of The Forgotten God will then be deposited into your personal stash. The Hammer Of The Forgotten God deals a lot of base damage, and it also has a chance to stun any enemy that it hits.
Sacrificial Sword
To obtain the Sacrificial Sword, you’ll need to have unlocked the Vedvilvie zone by starting the quest “The Origins of Theleme”. While in the area, you’ll eventually encounter a Guardian that you must defeat to progress. Upon defeating the Guardian, you’ll obtain the Sacrificial Sword as a reward.
The Sacrificial Sword isn’t too difficult to acquire, so it’s worth obtaining it if you primarily use melee weapons, even if you don’t need a new weapon. The Sacrificial Sword has high base damage, extra Fury Generation, and a large chance to stun your enemies.
Asili Blunderbuss
There aren’t very many options for legendary guns in GreedFall, which is unfortunate since it’s a popular weapon type. However, the Asili Blunderbuss weapon makes up for this by being extra powerful, and it’s the best possible choice for a build that prioritizes guns. Obtaining the Asili Blunderbuss isn’t too difficult; all you have to do is open a chest inside of the Doctor’s Office location while completing the quest “Doctor Asili’s Experiments”.
This quest is encountered as part of the “In The Name Of Science” storyline, which is a side story in GreedFall. Since the Asili Blunderbuss isn’t linked to the main storyline, you don’t have to wait until near the end of the game or any main quest to obtain it. The Asili Blunderbuss deals extra elemental damage.
Yataghan
Yataghan is another legendary weapon that you can obtain by defeating a boss. During the “Ancient Secrets” quest, you’ll run into many enemies and eventually a boss fight. Once you defeat this enemy, you’ll be rewarded with the Yataghan weapon in a chest nearby. However, you can also acquire this weapon without ever fighting the boss by sneaking into the area and taking Yataghan from the chest.
This method is difficult, but it’s an option, and it’s the only way to obtain Yataghan without fighting the boss. Yataghan is stronger than most of the non-legendary melee weapons in GreedFall, so it’s a must-have if you’ve created a melee character build. Yataghan has a high stun chance and extra Fury Generation.
Great Scythe
The main storyline quest, “Quest For Panacea”, is the mission in which you have the opportunity to obtain the Great Scythe weapon. This quest takes place in The Ancient Woods region of Teer Fradee. You have to enter Root’s Passage, then travel to the northern section of the cave and locate the alter.
The Great Scythe is next to the altar, and you can then pick it up. Scythes are one of the highest damage weapon types in GreedFall, and they aren’t particularly common, so if you use this weapon type often, then it’s worth picking this weapon up during the main storyline. The Great Scythe has a high chance to stun your enemies.
