GTA Online Player Lands A Scramjet On Top Of A Crane

One Grand Theft Auto Online player recently shared a quick video of a stunt wherein they land their Scramjet car on top of a crane.

One of the latest stunt videos making the rounds from Grand Theft Auto Online is of a player who landed their Scramjet car on top of a crane. GTA Online’s Scramjet seems to be the fan-favorite car for cool stunts in the multiplayer suite, which isn’t too surprising given the supersonic nature of the vehicle itself.

Short for Supersonic Combustion Ramjet, the Scramjet was actually derived from a real-world propulsion system of the same name. Rockstar Games obviously took several creative liberties when repurposing the idea for street-level use in a digital world, though the Scramjet can also take to the skies to some degree. The vehicle’s sleek design additionally borrowed from the design of the Mach Five, the race car driven in the popular Speed Racer anime series. Grand Theft Auto Online fans continue to push the envelope when it comes to making the most of the design, too.

On the GTA Online subreddit, user Zondark shared a clip of their skillful landing atop a crane. This doesn’t count as any ordinary stunt, however, since the player accomplished such a feat while driving a Scramjet. Zondark’s stunt begins in a construction site; after a Scramjet spawns in, the player jumps the vehicle into the air, carefully boosting it through backward leaps to stick the perfect crane landing. As far as cool car tricks in Grand Theft Auto Online go, this Scramjet landing from Zondark certainly warrants recognition as a cut above the rest. And who knows what stunt the classy car will appear in next?
