Rockstar Games has revealed Grand Theft Auto Online’s promised free GTA 3 anniversary gift and the trio of Halloween modes coming to the multiplayer game this week. The studio previously announced the free GTA 3 shirt players will be receiving in GTA Online in celebration of the game’s 20th anniversary. The GTA 3 shirt is the first in a line of cosmetic items and liveries that Rockstar Games is releasing over the next few weeks. While the shirt was announced to be obtainable by simply logging into GTA Online, other anniversary content may require players to participate in special in-game events.
GTA 3’s 20th anniversary events within GTA Online are part of a larger celebration of the series’ most revolutionary entry, with the true highlight of the event being the announcement of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. The compilation of remastered games includes Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, and San Andreas and was recently unveiled by Rockstar Games after months of rumors alluding to its existence. The studio recently teased some of the enhancements coming in GTA: The Trilogy along with the announcement of its plans to remove original versions of the three games from digital stores.
Publisher Rockstar Games has revealed the free GTA 3 Baseball Bat tee players can redeem GTA Online by logging into the game during the promotional period. The white shirt features an illustration of GTA 3’s most iconic melee weapon wielded by protagonist Claude Speed, a baseball bat. The studio also announced the return of Halloween-themed modes Slasher, Come Out to Play, and Condemned, all of which will be paying out double GTA$ and RP rewards. Some of the other Halloween-themed content include the new Camhedz cabinet for arcade owners, as well as the return of the GTA Online Alien Survivals mode – which is also giving out double rewards for playing.

Outside of the free shirt and GTA Online’s Halloween content, players can get double the GTA$ and RP from Business Battles this week and those who are able to grab some Event Cargo will be rewarded with the Green Checked Round Shades and Green Glow Necklace. There’s additionally a free Republican Space Ranger Livery up for grabs for players who log into GTA Online before October 27, and a Twilight Knife T-shirt can also be earned by killing a Slasher while playing as a survivor.
