Missions 10 through 12 of Halo 5: Guardians have 23 mission intel to be found: 10 on Enemy Lines, five on Before the Storm and eight on Battle of Sunaion. Both Enemy Lines and Battlalso feature one skull each for you to collect.

For players on their second playthrough of this game, no need to panic, you won’t have to waste time searching for intel you’ve already found. Pausing a game during a level and clicking “Mission Intel” will list the names of all the intel you have found, which you can cross-reference with intel names listed here in this guide. Doing this, you can avoid wasting time looking for intel you’ve already collected.

Enemy Lines

Ceremonial Sword 4/6

Head forward until you reach the area with the waterfall and the collapsed ruin entrance. Take a left and head to the very, very bottom of the area and to the far left. You will find the artifact hidden away in the dark in the corner.

Message to Jacul ‘Arach 1/4

Advance through the collapsed ruin entrance and stick to the left. You will find the data pad on the ground, next to some plasma grenades.

Sangheili Personal Log 449

Continue through the cave until you pass a keyhole-shaped door, which will be on your left.

Enter the door and go outside. Stand on top of the ledge to your right, then jump around to a small platform with a carbine and a data pad.

Unggoy Personal Log 023

Once you reach the point below, you will see two keyhole-shaped doors. Enter the right one in the back corner, then the data pad will be inside, to the right of the entrance.

Message to Jacul ‘Arach 2/4

After you get to the point pictured below after getting your ghost, head through the leftmost keyhole-door, then you will find the data pad on the floor to the right in the corner.

Sangheili Personal Log 061

Drive to the far end of the area that you found the last intel in. Once you reach the entrance to the next area, turn around and jump up to the rock behind you.

You will need to sprint-jump and dash in midair to reach it, but you will find the data pad up here.

Dear Covenant Please Read

After traversing through the ruins and arriving at the area pictured below, head straight to the right an hug the right wall. You will come to a small platform with the data pad on it.

Covenant Attack Plan

In this same area, after all of the enemies are cleared out, head up to the center platform with the two drop shield. Sprint-jump out to the structure ahead and to the right of you.

In the picture below, Spartan Locke is staring where you want to jump towards. Sprint-jump over here, doing a dash in midair to get there. The data pad will be waiting here for you.

Kit Pitlimp’s Adventure Log 2/4

Stick to ground level on the left of the area and head to the point pictured below. Go right, under the ruins to find a destructible wall.

Charge through this wall and take an immediate right to find the data pad sitting on a rock.

Forerunner Record: Search 5/5

At the very end of the level, when you fight the Kraken, fly over to the rightmost platform from where you enter. Sitting in the center of the platform will be the Forerunner console.

Before the Storm

Honorguard Personal Log 2/2

Before the Storm is another short level, featuring just five intel, all within a very close proximity of one another. Right as you spawn, turn around and you should see a tree ahead of you. To the right of this tree are some crates, upon which the first data pad can be found.

Attack Wing Jardam Combat Report

Turn back around and head straight towards the rocks pictured below. Climb them, then climb the broken pillar in front of you and to the right.

Jump to the next pillar in front of you and climb up top to find the second data pad.

Sangheili Security Officer’s Log

Head towards the red umbrellas, in the direction that Spartan Locke is facing in the picture below.

Under the umbrella nearest to the Arbiter will be a data pad sitting on a crate.

Dr. Halsey: Status [Supplemental]

While facing the Arbiter from the previous intel, turn left to see a cave into the mountain. Follow through this cave a bit, then climb up the rocks to the right, up towards the hovering phantom.

Head out onto the broken remains of the stone bridge to find the intel on the ledge.

Unggoy Science Report

From the previous intel, head towards the tallest umbrella and climb up to the top of it, by jumping from one umbrella to another until you reach the umbrella down and to the left of the tall one. From there, you can jump and grapple it.

Behind the umbrella, jump to the ledge with the two crates to find the final data pad between them.

Battle of Sunaion

Message to Jacul ‘Arach 3/4

Eight intel are to be found on Battle of Sunaion. The first of these eight can be found in the starting area. Immediately turn left and jump up to the ledge above, using the canister to get the height.

Run left until you pass the cylindrical platform pictured below. Jump to it to find the data pad.

Chant of the Guardian

After destroying the second turret, head up the stairs to your left and then into the door forward and to the left.

Once in here, take an immediate left and you should see a blue console in the back of the room. This is the intel.

Prayer of the Guardian

After destroying the final three turrets, then riding down the elevator, you will eventually come to the area pictured below. Climb up the circular platform to the immediate right of the door with the two purple flames.

Turn left and jump across to the slanted ledge on the building beside you, behind the small pillars. Follow this ledge around counterclockwise to find the data pad.

Message to Jacul ‘Arach 4/4

Continue until you reach the area with the many circular platforms, pictured below. Head to the far right side of the farthest right circular platform.

Up on a ledge above you will be the data pad.

Kit Pitlimp’s Adventure 3/4

Once you reach the far platform where the two hunters spawn, kill them and then head to the platform to the right of them. Walk around back to find the data pad sitting on a pedestal.

Ceremonial Sword 5/6

After riding the elevator upward, following the hunter battle, exit through the right door of the building you appear in.

Look over the edge at the elite that Spartan Locke is looking at in the picture below. Next to this elite is the artifact.

Sunaion Officer’s Personal Log

Once the building begins to collapse and you enter into the room below, stay to the top level and jump through the window to the next room.

In here, the data pad can be found on a low shelf on the left side.

Ceremonial Sword 6/6

Very shortly after the previous intel, you will see the Arbiter taking down an enemy through a door. Instead of advancing towards the Arbiter, take a right and head to the far end of the hallway. In the right corner will be this level’s final piece of intel.
