On October 26, Hitman 3’s seventh and final piece of Seven Deadly Sins DLC, Wrath, will go live across all platforms, dropping Agent 47 into what could go down as his most dangerous Escalation challenge yet. The first part of the Seven Deadly Sins-themed content arrive in March, with Greed as its focal point. Developer IO Interactive has released five other acts – Pride, Sloth, Lust, Gluttony, and Envy – each one boasting a unique Escalation mission and fresh set of in-game items for Agent 47.

IO Interactive unleashed the third entry in its World of Assassination trilogy earlier this year, doing so as both developer and publisher for the first time. The effort paid dividends, too, with the title’s strong start on the sales charts securing its place as the most successful digital launch in Hitman history. Ongoing post-launch support keeps players coming back, and yet another adventure hovers just above the horizon.

Wrath counts as the final Seven Deadly Sins act for Hitman 3 and will arrive in less than one week’s time on Tuesday, October 26. The new content debuts “The Wrath Termination” Escalation mission, which will pit 47 against an onslaught of enemies whose combat prowess demands preparation on the part of players. On top of “The Wrath of Termination,” the Wrath DLC packs in the Temper Suit outfit, Shaska Beast machine gun, the Roar Flash Grenade. This interested in the content can purchase Wrath separately for $4.99, or grab all seven episodes of the Seven Deadly Sins collection for $29.99. Given that this marks the last piece of premium DLC for Hitman 3, Wrath could serve as the final time in which Agent 47 features in new content. IO Interactive previously shared its intention of giving the iconic assassin a bit of an extended vacation. He deserves it, after all. But the studio has no plans of simply resting on its laurels.

Late last year, the company announced Project 007, a codenamed endeavor that will see IO dive into the intriguing world of James Bond. Very little is known about the venture as of writing, but developers have promised to tell a James Bond origin story.
