Suicune is one of the legendary Pokemon making a return in the Pokemon: Crown Tundra DLC. This guide will show how players can locate and capture it. Pokemon: Sword & Shield has finally released the final piece of its DLC with the Crown Tundra. This expansion brings players to an icy wasteland where players are tasked with helping a legendary Pokemon find its loyal steed, hunting down the Galarian version of the legendary birds, and unlocking the secrets of the hidden Regis. One of the newer gameplay mechanics comes in the form of the Dynamax Adventures. This is how players will be able to capture Suicune in the game.

Suicune is a Pokemon that originates from the second generation with Pokemon Gold and Silver. In the third, definitive version of the game, players were treated to Pokemon Crystal, the entry where Suicune was the main legendary Pokemon of the game and was present on the box art. Suicune is known to be one of the protectors of nature and has the ability to purify water after galloping on it. Dynamax Adventure brings back almost every legendary Pokemon in the series as a challenge for players to complete. How To Catch Suicune in the Pokemon: Crown Tundra DLC

To capture Suicune, the player will need to participate in Dynamax Adventures, one of the newer mechanics from the DLC. In Dynamax Adventures, up to four players will work together with their rental Pokemon, selecting different paths and swapping Pokemon as they make their way deeper into the cavern. At the end of the cavern, the player will be given an opportunity to capture a legendary Pokemon. The first legendary Pokemon players will encounter is actually Suicune. This game mode is better played with friends since the AI of the game can occasionally screw the player out of victory. Keep participating in Dynamax Adventures until Suicune appears. Players also have the chance to encounter multiple of these Pokemon as well. It is completely random which legendary Pokemon will appear at the end of the tunnel.

The Crown Tundra half of the expansion pass will likely be the last trip players will take into the Galar region. With no confirmation of more DLC happening in the future for the game, it is likely that the Pokemon Company will move forward to a new entry. Whether it be a remake of a previous generation or a brand new game is unknown but hopefully, they maintain the DLC option in the future. The DLC has been a massive treat for the Galar region.
