According to the official New World website, every streamer within the New World category on Twitch should have Drops enabled, meaning that fans can view a combination of channels to get their Drop rewards. To ensure Drops have been enabled for a particular channel, players should look for a Drops status overlay at the top of the live chat window.
Only players who have a Twitch account and are logged in when watching a New World stream are eligible to claim the Twitch Drops. Additionally, viewers must make sure that their Twitch and Steam accounts have been connected. Otherwise, the Drop reward can’t be claimed. Players must sign in to Twitch on their viewing device or browser and in-game for New World. Then, they must confirm that their Steam profile is connected to their Twitch account as well. Once a player has earned a Drop on Twitch, they can claim the reward in the stream’s chat window or their Drops Inventory. Drops should appear in-game within 24 hours after being claimed.
