Explore Dark Bramble, Locate Feldspar, Jellyfish Clues

When you use your Signalscope on the Dark Bramble, it becomes clear that another one of your explorer friends is located there, playing a familiar tune on his harmonica.

When flying to the Dark Bramble, one of the white lights will be the source of the signal, and you can head over there. You may have already been here once, only to die to the wrath of a horrible anglerfish. However, what did you learn from the fossil found in the Sunless City, on Ember Twin?

These monsters are quite blind and only react to sound. So, keep your jets to the briefest of bursts and head over to the signal without alerting it to your presence.

You’ll know if you’ve made too much noise.

Explore inside of these strange seeds that glow, using the Scout to easily trace the signals on the left as you enter. Soon enough, you’ll come to an anglerfish fossil with Feldspar inside. Chatting with him is essential for the best ending, and he shares information with you, but only after you follow his clues. Clearly, space exploration has done nothing to crimp his inner Ron Swanson from Parks & Recreation and a love for riddles.

When finally, you get to the place he alludes to, you learn a vital piece of information: being inside the massive jellyfish will protect you from electric currents, like the one that guards the Core at Giant’s Deep.

Head To Giant’s Deep Core & Explore Orbital Probe

It is time to brave the depths of Giant’s Deep, heading right into its core. If you are not a fan of the thalassophobia subreddit, you likely will not enjoy this, but you must press on.

Once back in your ship, locate one of the tornadoes spinning counterclockwise, which is unique, as all others spin clockwise. Rather than shoot you up, these will suck you down beneath the surface, bringing you right up the core, which is protected by some manner of an electric field. If you have already explored this, you may know that touching the field will fry your ship’s electronics, and possibly cause a devastating breach.

To bypass the field, look to the large jellyfish nearby, navigate your ship beneath one, and literally fly up into its head. It may sound silly, but now you’ll see that the perspective shifts to a red glow. From there, the jellyfish will do us a solid by moving us past the electric field, into the Core.

Now you are inside the very core, and it is time to search. Upon inspection, you will find that very coordinates for the Eye of the Universe are in the Orbital Probe Tracking Module that is hidden within.

Access The Ash Twin Core

You are now, in a sense, nearing the end of your journey, as you have discovered that you seek the Eye of the Universe, its coordinates, various Quantum Rules to help you get there, and now, you need the appropriate vessel to reach it.

Begin the process of getting to the end by heading to the Ash Twin to find an Advanced Warp Core. Head to Ash Twin, and land at either pole. Wait for the planet’s ash to be lifted by Ember Twin, and by the third pass, you will see a tower revealed. Here you will observe two towers, one of each representing the Twins. As you may have guessed, the ruined, decrepit Tower is meant to be Ash Twin, which is what you will focus on.

Eventually, sufficient ash will be lifted away and you can begin. There is a bridge that connects the two towers, and it offers safety for a moment. Wait until Ash passes by, and once beneath it, head into the tower.

Like out other warp rooms or towers in the game, you have now warped into the Ash Twin Core with much to decode and learn of the Nomai, and a ball switch to activate before heading up the tower.

Among everything, you’ll find the Advanced Warp Core. Take hold of the core by cutting the gravity, though for now, you can leave it in place. When you finally need the item, it will be on a fresh restart of the 22-minute timer. Taking it now is largely inconsequential, as the supernova that destroys everything will also have the core back in this space. For now, just remember how to get it quickly.

Find The Nomai Vessel In The Dark Bramble

Our ship, though beloved and rugged after many time loops in the universe, will not be up to the task of getting to the Eye of the Universe. You instead need something else, something more Noami-ish in nature.

By now, you have likely found enough clues to know that the vessel is somewhere on Dark Bramble. But where? Well, from your earlier visit, you know that one of the escape pods landed there and that a Nomai was searching for it. Head to Dark Bramble and use your Signalscope to locate a Distress Frequency.

Recall that you need to be mindful of your noise, else you’ll become anglerfish prey, and examine the Escape Pod. Examine the notes within, and then head out again to follow the lights left by the Nomai.

Eventually, you will find the unlucky Nomai explorer. Send in the Scout towards the bramble to reveal the location of the Vessel and continue forward into the glow. Again, noise will attract the anglerfish to your location, so you will need to be all but silent and drift most of the way.

After a short distance, you’ll find the vessel, accessed by moving towards the crack next to the Scout. Exit your spaceship and enter the vessel, where you have almost everything we need to warp to the Eye of the Universe. When examining the Warp Core, you’ll see that it is not functioning, but that is why you found a replacement elsewhere. For now, solve the puzzle to learn more secrets of this universe.

Once the ball puzzle is complete, you will have the opportunity to input the coordinates for the Eye of the Universe from the core of Giant’s Deep.

Access The Eye Of The Universe

You now have the necessary knowledge and components to finally access the Eye of the Universe. Of course, you will need to “reset” the time in order to fit in the steps, which are to acquire the Advanced Warp Core (Ash Twin), double check to see you have the coordinates (Giant’s Deep Core), get back to the Vessel (Dark Bramble), insert the core, solve the puzzle, and input the coordinates.

From there, it is a simple matter of activating the warp portal, and there you are. Once at the Eye of the Universe, you must activate the portal on the other side, and now, you are standing at the Eye of the Universe.

The End…?

We’ve already spoiled too many things in this guide, but the ending will not be among them. Suffice to say that you must ensure that you have met all the other explorers across the planets: Riebeck at Brittle Hollow, Feldspar at Dark Bramble, Chert at Ember Twin, Gabbro at Giant’s Deep, Esker at Attlerock, and Solanum at Quantum Moon.
