How to Take a Snapshot in Pokémon GO

Players will need to take Snapshots in Pokemon Go. This guide will show players how they can complete this challenge. Pokemon Go is currently hosting its Seasons of Legends event where the legendary genie Pokemon from the Unova region has taken the lead. For this challenge, players will need to take pictures of all three legendary Pokemon for their Special Research Tasks. For starters, they will need to capture all 3 genie Pokemon from raid battles. Players should be able to find them appearing on the map if they are in a densely populated area. Otherwise, make sure to wait around for 5 other players before jumping into the raid battle. These are 5-star raids, which are nearly impossible to do alone. For the Special Research Task, players will need to take Snapshots of all three legendary Pokemon. This guide will show players how they can do it.

Initially, when Pokemon Go released, players were seen all around the world taking pictures with their Pokemon. Now that the game has received substantial buffs and upgrades, the Snapshot feature works so much better. Players can set it so Pokemon actually blend in with our reality and pose when needed. Niantic has even hosted events around this feature and has posted some of their favorites online and in the game. Now, players will need to take pictures of Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus for a Special Research Task. This guide will show players how.

How To Take A SnapShot in Pokemon Go

At the beginning of the game, players can enter their inventory to find a camera. From here, players can select which Pokemon they wish to take a picture with. Now, players will need to find a flat surface and tap on the footprints to place their Pokemon. If the Pokemon is too big, the player may need to take a few steps back to capture this photo. It is recommended to try and complete these challenges while you’re outside. This is with the AR+ mode enabled. Now, all the player has to do is take a few pictures of the Pokemon.

In the case of the Season of Legends Special Research Tasks, there have been issues of the challenge not being completed, regardless of the photos the player has taken. The best thing to do in this situation is to restart the game and try and do it again. Repeat this process until the game has registered that you’ve taken the photos. Your camera roll might be massive, but the challenge will be completed.
