The Pirate Cove is an unlockable location in Stardew Valley. This guide will show players how they can unlock it in the game. In this update, players are now able to explore a new area called Ginger Island where they can meet new NPC characters, discover new fish and crops, and take on a brand-new volcano dungeon. To unlock this location, players will need to assist Willy The Fishermen with repairing his boat. There are tons of things to come across on Ginger Island. For starters and arguably the biggest new feature is the volcano. Not only is it 10 floors of enemies to defeat and minerals to collect, but if players happen to make it to the top, they will reach the forge. Here at the forge, players will be able to craft the Infinity Tools, the best items available in the game. This makes crafting, digging, building, and defeating enemies much easier than ever before. Although for those looking for something calmer and life-sim like, unlocking Pirate Cove will bring pirates over to Ginger Island for fun and games. Here’s how players can unlock it.
How To Unlock Pirate Cove in Stardew Valley
To unlock Pirate Cove, the player will first need to build a resort on Ginger Island. To do this, players will need to spend 20 Golden Walnuts, the main currency on the island that players can unlock by doing pretty much anything. This will clean up this part of the beach and adds a bit more excitement to the island. Once the resort is built, pirates will begin to start visiting the island under specific conditions. Pirates will only appear on even-numbered days on non-rainy days after 8 pm.
The cave will be decorated and the pirates will be throwing a party inside. While inside, players can participate in a game of Darts with the pirates or get mead from the bartender. It’s a nice little hidden bonus that players can stumble across while on Ginger Island. Strangely enough, a pair of the pirates look identical to the Super Mario brothers.
