On Monday, Huawei announced the worldwide launch of its official game service and distribution platform Huawei GameCenter, designed to bring mobile gaming communities together. Huawei, which has promised high-quality content and rewards for gamers, has released the service, which can be accessed via AppGallery, in Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.

The company has steered clear of the US market after the Federal Communications Commission designated Huawei a national security threat in June. The new platform offers two core services, content service and user welfare, to enhance the gaming experience by creating a one-stop game service platform.

GameCenter allows users access to pre-order games, new games, and popular games, as well as, exclusive online game packages for further discounts and benefits while playing. The platform will enable users to get updates on game releases and test run new games. Featured games include Starship Legion-AMG, BORN AS EPIC, Farm Legend, Survival Road, and Ellr Land, among others.

Players will also have access to new games like Dynasty Legends: True Hero Rises from Chaos and Goddess MUA, and popular games like Idle Heroes, The Origin of Chaos, Brain Out, AFK Arena, Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade, and Lords Mobile.

As for welfare packages exclusive to Huawei GameCenter, players can enjoy gold coins and time-limited props while playing Last Day Rules: Survival and Starship Legion-AMG. Huawei, which has more than 700 million users around the world, is banking on the success of GameCenter, which currently partners with top game companies like Lilith Games, IGG, Gameloft, and Forshow.

For developers, Huawei will offer free professional evaluation services and technical support to enable effective integration with Huawei Mobile Services. In addition, the “Shining-Star” program will provide a $1 billion incentive fund, as well as, funds for development innovation, user growth, and marketing for developers.

Finally, GameCenter will feature an in-app social community so players can socialize, make friends and build gaming communities.
