Very Cavallari star Jay Cutler is making his relationship with Jana Kramer more public. The former NFL athlete is in the process of a divorce with The Hills star Kristin Cavallari. The duo announced their split last April after spending 10 years together. They share three children: 9-year-old son Camden, 7-year-old son Jaxon, and 5-year-old daughter Saylor. Since then, Kristin has also dated a few men in the public eye, with her sights currently set on country music star Chase Rice. As for Jana, the actress recently divorced Mike Caussin after six years of marriage. The duo shares two children together.
Though Jay reportedly told Kristin about his upcoming date with the One Tree Hill actress, it still made waves through the Nashville area since the women once considered each other friends and even shared the screen together in the 2009 comedy Spring Breakdown. Jay and Jana explored their connection by enjoying each other’s company at Bourbon Steak and then grabbing drinks at Nashville hotspot L.A. Jackson. Following the date, Kristin blocked Jana to avoid any chance of seeing her ex moving on.
Though Jay and Jana’s original date was properly documented on social media by fans, the duo hasn’t been officially photographed together until now. In a newly released photograph, Jana and Jay were all smiles while visiting Nashville eatery The Twelve Thirty Club last Wednesday. Jana looked cute and casual, wearing white belted pants and a black crop top, wrapping her arms around her new man’s waist. Though they haven’t made their relationship official just yet, a source tells E! News that the couple has grown closer over their similar divorce experiences. “They are bonding over how each of them ended a high-profile relationship, but are moving forward one day at a time,” they said.

The duo followed up their more public outing the following day by attending a comedy show together in South Carolina. The insider added that Jay isn’t trying to stir the pot by dating one of Kristin’s former friends. The relationship between the women is just a coincidence. “He knows his ex has moved on and so has he,” they said.
It’s an interesting tactic to begin a relationship by bonding over a divorce, but everyone’s love finds them in different ways. At least this action is more exciting than Jay’s struggle to find dates on dating apps. The former NFL star recently admitted that he’s tried to find dates through apps like Raya, but he’s old school and the virtual approach is foreign to him. Now that Jay has found a connection in real life, things seem to be looking up for the former NFL star.
