A majority of the Jersey Shore cast have numerous tattoos, most of which have some type of sentimental meaning. Mike is the only one without tattoos.

When Jersey Shore first aired in 2009, very few of the original roommates had tattoos. The original cast featured Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Pauly D Delvecchio, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Angelina Pivarnick, Vinny Guadagnino, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. Angelina’s time with the roommates was short-lived, and she was eventually replaced by Deena Cortese. Now, all the roommates have reunited again for their spin-off, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Years after the first series aired, almost the entire cast now has at least one tattoo somewhere on their body. In fact, Mike is the only cast member who doesn’t have any known tattoos. Much of the cast’s body art has some sort of personal, sentimental meaning behind it, though others were just done for fun.

JWoww

In 2018, JWoww took to her YouTube channel to give an in-depth description of all her tattoos. She got her very first tattoo at just 15 years old on her ankle while at a house party. She later covered up the original flame tattoo with a dedication to her grandfather. The new tattoo read “Opa,” which is grandfather in German. She also has “Oma” on her shoulder for her grandmother. Although JWoww is one of two non-Italian roommates on the show, she is not German either. Her daughter’s footprints and name are on JWoww’s other shoulder. Down her left arm, JWoww has a sleeve of Disney tattoos, which now leads to a portrait of her son located on her hand. JWoww also has a tiger and snake tattooed on her hip and side.

Pauly D

When the original show was still airing, Pauly D made an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, during which he explained his seven tattoos at the time. A majority of them were on his back, including the Italian flag and his name. A tattoo down his side reads Cadillac, which is his favorite automobile. On his right arm, Pauly has a tribute to a friend who passed away, as well Jesus and Mary portraits. This tattoo now leads into an entire sleeve. On his opposing arm, Pauly has a dragon and his elbow is surrounded by a star.

Snooki

Similar to JWoww, Snooki also did a video explaining her tattoos on YouTube. Although she doesn’t know the exact number of tattoos, Snooki doesn’t regret any of them. On her wrist, Snooki has the roman numerals, X1 which stand for GL. Snooki explained this can either stand for “good luck,” or the names of her first two children. Snooki later added her third child’s initial to this tattoo. At the same time, she also got all three of their names up her opposite arm. This may be one of the reasons fans think she is such a good mom. She also has a half sleeve on both of her arms, which include numerous stars, a crown with a bow, a squirrel, a leopard, and a “mom symbol.”

Deena & Angelina

Deena and Angelina don’t quite have as many tattoos as JWoww and Snooki. Angelina has a diamond ring on her left hip, as well as a locket design on her side. She also has a small cross on the side of her hand. Angelina is currently working on her half sleeve, which includes a dream catcher, a rose, and an eye. She also has a quote on the back of her shoulder. Deena, on the other hand, just has a quote along with stars that runs from one foot to the other. The quote reads, “Tell me I can’t and I’ll show you I can.”

Vinny & Ronnie

Ronnie and Vinny have more basic tattoos than the rest of the roommates. Ronnie has a variety of tattoos that cover both of his biceps. Vinny, who is getting ready to find love on the third season of Double Shot at Love, has the quote “Let Go Let God” across his chest along with wings and a heart. He also recently got a large wolf design covering a majority of his forearm. He also has a few tattoos covering his bicep.
