Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz Magro’s ex-girlfriend and baby mama Jenn Harley is claiming that Ronnie is putting the blame on his new girlfriend for his latest domestic violence arrest. Jenn and Ronnie had their fair share of physical altercations throughout their two years of dating, some of which resulted in arrests being made as well. Now, Ronnie has been dating Saffire Matos for nearly a year.

Ronnie was arrested on Thursday in Los Angeles, California, on account of domestic violence allegations. While the details of the incident still remain vague, Jenn’s new boyfriend, Joe, confirmed on social media that Jenn was not involved in the incident. This led fans to believe that Saffire was on the other end of the altercation; however, this has not been confirmed. At the time of his arrest, Ronnie was still on probation from his last altercation with Jenn in 2019. He has since been released on a $100,000 bail.

Although both Ronnie and Saffire have stayed quiet on social media since the incident, Jenn has not been afraid to speak her mind. After Joe confirmed that she was not involved, Jenn documented her four-hour drive from Las Vegas to California to retrieve their shared 3-year old daughter, Arianna Sky, who was with Ronnie at the time of his arrest. Now, Jenn is claiming that Ronnie is most likely putting the blame on Saffire for the incident. On Instagram, a fan questioned why the details surrounding the incident leading up to Ronnie’s arrest were not portrayed on social media as it was when Jenn was involved in the past. They also wondered if Ronnie did in fact physically hurt his new girlfriend considering the lack of social media postings.

Despite her initial post having nothing to do with Ronnie or his arrest, Jenn replied to the fan’s question. She claimed that following his bail, Ronnie has most likely been guilt-tripping Saffire into believing that the incident was in some way her fault. Speaking from experience, Jenn explained, “She’s probably getting guilt trip so bad right now, and being conditioned that somehow this is her fault, and SHE did this.” Jenn went on to say that this is not the first time Ronnie has done something like this and it most likely will not be the last. Although Jenn was not portrayed in the best light throughout their relationship, fans feel she is not wrong in her assumption; however, continuously trolling her daughter’s father on social media despite his public mistakes is perceived as being immature. Fans continue to stand behind their initial reaction of wanting Ronnie to be removed from the show.

The commenting option on Jenn’s post has since been limited. Neither Ronnie nor Saffire have spoken up about the incident. At the time of his arrest, Ronnie’s attorney says they won’t release a formal statement until further information was gathered. Ronnie will in fact be seen in the upcoming season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, during which Saffire is set to make her first appearance. It is unknown if MTV will act on the request of viewers to have him fired for future seasons.
