Jersey Shore’s Ronnie is “doing the best he can” amid legal woes, says Deena Cortese. Ronnie has been fighting a losing battle against his ex-girlfriend up to now but it determined to turn his life around.
On October 4, Ortiz-Magro and ex-girlfriend Jen Harley was involved in a physical altercation that led to the reality star being tased. The Los Angeles Police Department promptly issued an emergency protective order against Ortiz-Magro – which was effective until October 11th – following his arrest for the domestic violence incident against Harley. The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star had to stay at least 100 yards away from his girlfriend. Harley could have extended the order of protection but did not return to court on her specific date, so the protective order was lifted. Since the altercation, the reality star announced that he had broken up with Harley once and for all.
According to Deena Nicole Cortese, her roommate is been “doing the best he can.” The mother of one spoke with In Touch Weekly, saying Ortiz-Magro has had a lot on his plate but was juggling it all very well. The MTV personality was still entangled in his domestic abuse case with Harley and hopefully will not be charged. Cortese went on to say that her roommate will always have the support of his fellow roommates. Ortiz-Magro even joined the cast in New Orleans to celebrate Angelina Pivarnick’s bachelorette party.
The meatball went on to say in her interview that she believed that all of the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast had grown over the years and explained that the show changed them all. Cortese said that the show brought positive change and helped her become the mother she was today. The reality star referred to her younger days saying she was a little troubled back when the show first started but as she got older, she learned who she was. Cortese found it amazing that the fans of the show had been able to watch them all mature into adults during each season.
Cortese had not been the only one who had come to Ortiz-Magro’s defense as Nicole Polizzi and Mike Sorrentino had also come forward to give their friend some encouragement. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino believed that Harley staged most of the photos that showed her bruised after their argument and claimed she wants to become famous very badly. He also noted that no matter what was to happen to Ortiz-Magro that they would support in any way they could. While Snooki told fans on her podcast that the Jersey Shore roommates were not sure how Harley got the bruises but they understand that there are three sides to every story: his side, her side, and the truth.
