Judgment just hit a major milestone. According to the official Twitter account, the game has sold over one million copies across the PS4 and PS5, joining an exclusive club of top-selling games.

The game follows Takayuki Yagami, a former defense attorney turned detective, as he solves crimes on the streets of Kamurocho. Played by singer/actor Takuya Kimura, Judgment builds on the strong brawler foundations of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Yakuza series by adding new parkour elements like wall-running and leap-frogging, an investigation mode where Yagami searches a crime scene for clues and a tailing more where Yagami tries to follow a person of interest without getting caught (leading to a chase sequence if he does).

We gave Judgment 3.5 out of 5, praising the original story and departure from the Yakuza formula. Other reviews were even more charitable, pushing Judgment to 80% on Metacritic.

To celebrate the million milestone, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced that Judgment will have its PS4 price permanently lowered along with all of its DLC. The PlayStation Store previously listed Judgment at $40 but now lists it at $30.

Judgment is also getting a sequel in September. Lost Judgment was just announced last month during a special “Judgment Day” livestream. Yagami is back and this time he’ll be stalking the streets of Yokohama, the same location as Yakuza: Like a Dragon. He’ll also take investigations in Tokyo where he’ll get to show off new parkour abilities.

The trailer also showcased a side story that takes place at a high school dance competition, confirming that the series hasn’t lost its quirky sense of humor.

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio recently confirmed that Judgment will stick with being an action brawler while Yakuza makes the switch to turn-based RPG, continuing the trend started in Yakuza: Like A Dragon. They also confirmed Lost Judgment won’t make it to PC, even though Sega has ambitions to expand into more platforms.

Lost Judgment arrives on September 24 for Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
