The Elder Scrolls Loot Crate is always packed with interesting content, but this December’s offering is shaping up to be one of the best yet. Dubbed the Mercantile crate, it will feature exclusive items that pay homage to the incredible shops throughout Tamriel.

Here’s what we know you’ll find in this quarter’s Loot Crate:

  • Vivec blanket (Pictured below)
  • Rindir’s Staffs T-shirt
  • Talking Mudcrab Tote Bag

Beyond those three items, you’re bound to find a few other exclusive collectibles. Loot Crate guarantees that you’ll get between four to six items in each package, and the total value will always exceed $80. All the items are exclusive to this offer, meaning you won’t be able to pick these up anywhere else — except maybe eBay with an incredibly inflated price.

The Elder Scrolls Crate is delivered to subscribers on a quarterly basis, with deliveries occurring in March, June, September, and December. The recently announced Mercantile crate will be the last one of the year, but you’ll need to sign up before November 15 in order to secure your spot on the list. The Loot Company says that these are among their most popular in the catalog and are “extremely limited,” so it might be wise to check out the listing soon if you’re interested in making a purchase.

Past Loot Crates are no indication of what you’ll receive in your purchase, but they can at least speak to the quality of your expected items. These have run the gamut from hard cover books about the Lords of the Daedra, to replica helmets and even cooking aprons fashioned after those worn by Skyrim blacksmiths. It’s a wild assortment of items, but any fan of the series would probably love to add them to their collection.

Whether or not six items (including several that are unidentified) are worth the price of admission is another story entirely. However, worst case scenario you can probably resell most of these items to the rabid Elder Scrolls fanbase and make a few bucks. After all, this is the Mercantile Crate — buying low and selling high might be part of the appeal.

The Elder Scrolls Mercantile Loot Crate is now available for order.
