Kitaria Fables sees players stepping into the role of the fierce feline Nyanza as they set out to save the world. Despite not being able to customize your character when you create a new game, you can change Nyanza’s appearance as soon as you arrive on Thunderbunn Farm.

How to Change Nyanza’s Pattern and Colouring

As soon as Chief Oliver has taken you to your grandfather’s old home, Thunderbunn Farm, you will be able to alter your appearance. Simply head inside the house, walk up to the mirror, and you’ll be prompted with the “Change Appearance” option.

From the mirror menu, you’ll be able to change Nyanza’s cat patterning. There are seven different skins including the default one in the base game, while the Deluxe Edition has an additional five. You can purchase the five additional skins as individual DLC packs if you only have the base game. Nyanza’s skin has no impact on gameplay whatsoever and is purely cosmetic.

Changing Nyanza’s Outfit

There are two ways to go about changing Nyanza’s outfit and we’re going to cover both of them right here.

Equipment and Accessories

As you progress through the game, you’ll naturally want to spend some hard-earned Paw Pennies to purchase armor and accessories for Nyanza. The armor pieces include body equipment, while accessories are split between headpieces and wings and you have a slot for each type.

Naturally, you’ll want to pay attention to the stats given by each piece to ensure you’re fighting fit. You can equip new armor and accessories from within the inventory menu.

Downloadable Content

There are a number of accessories available as DLC packs, or alternatively, they are all included in the Deluxe Edition. These DLC accessories are cosmetic-only costumes and act as a glamour over your existing pieces.

You don’t equip them the same way you would your usual gear, but instead, choose which appearance you would like from the mirror in your home on Thunderbunn Farm. Simply tab to the armor and accessories options and select the items you would like to be visible on Nyanza while keeping the stats of your equipped gear.

When you purchase DLC items, they will arrive via letter to Thunderbunn Farm, so you have to retrieve them from the mailbox before you can use them.
