Kim Kardashian from Keeping Up With The Kardashians was not happy this weekend when her daughter North West told her she went Live on TikTok. Since Kim welcomed her first daughter in 2013, the duo has been attached at the hip. Kim considers North to be her best friend and enjoys spending most of her time hanging out with her eldest daughter. Now that North is a little older, she and Kim are able to engage in other activities together, such as making TikTok videos together.
The mother-daughter duo began their account last month as a fun way for Kim and North to bond. Not only are their videos super adorable, but each video has garnered millions of viewers. They have quickly become one of the most popular TikTok accounts on the app, with a current follower count of over 2.1 million. They are slowly becoming just as popular as Kourtney Kardashian and her daughter, People Disick’s TikTok account.
On December 12, things quickly went array in the Kardashian-West house after North told her mom she was Live on TikTok (via Kardashian Video). The Live began with the eight-year-old giving a tour of her family’s Hidden Hills estate that Kim completely owns, without her mom’s permission. “Let’s give a house tour,” North can be heard saying as she filmed the hallways of her sanctuary-like home. She later gave her fans a glimpse into her family’s Sing 2 decorations that North claims her family rented for the day. North also gave the fans a look at her home’s sparkling Christmas tree and a pink bedroom that appeared to be hers. However, when North went into Kim’s bedroom and announced she was Live on TikTok, Kim didn’t seem thrilled.
As North walked into Kim’s bedroom, North exclaimed with a giggle, “Mom, I’m Live.” After Kim was able to process what her daughter just said, the SKIMS founder replied, “No stop. You’re not allowed to.” North, who has insulted the home before, continued to film as her mother was laying in bed and scrolling through her phone. Before the Live ended, Kim could be heard asking an unknown person, “is she really live?” before the video cuts off. By the time the Live ended, multiple fan accounts had already captured the video and had been viewed by millions of people. Kim and North started their joint TikTok account earlier this month, sharing different videos of North hanging with her mom, siblings, and other members of the Kardashian-Jenner family.
Even though Kim loves to create different TikTok videos with her eldest daughter, she does not like it when she records without her permission. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum enjoys her and her children’s privacy and sometimes broadcasting live can break that desire.
