A new gameplay trailer for Dying Light 2 was uploaded today, showing off one of the game’s spookier stealth sections as well as some new infected.

Uploaded to Dying Light’s official YouTube channel earlier today, the majority of the video shows the player sneaking through an abandoned GRE hospital crawling with infected. Throughout the hospital are seemingly dormant infected, which the protagonist calls “Sleeping Beauties”, that must be carefully navigated around as you make your way through the facility in hopes of finding a biomarker.

Throughout the video, we also get to see to a short showcase of some new and returning infected, one of which is a small and mysterious creature that we don’t quite see fully. We also get to see the return of the franchise’s iconic Volatiles as well as two very similar infected that look an awful lot like the Demolisher and Bomber types of infected from the first game.

Of course, things go south and we’re then treated to a hectic chase sequence as the player makes his way out of the hospital. It all looks very intense, and the mission itself looks fairly linear as the player makes their way through what looks like carefully designed, predetermined paths. As one of the characters starts welcoming the player to a group of surivors towards the end of the video, we can also assume that this might be one of the first missions in the game.
