These tasks can be found by spinning PokéStops, alongside the current roster of monthly research tasks, which are currently available. If you’re looking for a specific task, then you may have to visit multiple PokéStops.

Below you can find the exclusive field research tasks and rewards that will only be available during the Longchamp event in Pokémon Go. Though these individual tasks will only be available during the event, each one can be completed after the event ends if you saved the task.

  • Spin 3 PokéStops or Gyms reward – Smoochum with a bow encounter
  • Hatch an Egg reward – Smoochum with a bow encounter
  • Take 3 snapshots reward – x1 Silver Pinap Berry
  • Battle in a raid reward – x8 Poké Balls

Longchamp ‘fashion’ event dates and event ending time in Pokémon explained

The Longchamp event in Pokémon will run from Friday, 2nd October to Thursday, 8th October and will end at the following times:

  • UK – 6 am (BST)
  • Europe – 7 am (CEST)
  • East Coast US – 1 am(EDT)
  • West Coast US – 10 pm (PDT)

Make sure you catch each of the new costumed Pokémon before the end events!

April 2022 introduces the Silent Schemes event, which requires learning new Leader counters and Giovanni counters. Elsewhere, we’ve recently seen new Ditto disguises as part of the Season of Alola, which also introduced An Akala Adventure and more Gen 7 Pokémon including Fomantis and Tapu Lele. Elsewhere, off the back of the Go Tour Johto event is Masterwork Research Apex to complete.

Since the Longchamp event in Pokémon Go is inspired by fashion it includes the release of four new costume Pokémon and, yes, they’re all wearing some form of hat. Yay…

You can hatch a Smoochum wearing a bow from 7km eggs, while Croagunk wearing backwards caps will appear when you take photos using Go Snapshot. You might also encounter these cap-wearing Croagunks in the wild.

Meanwhile, in raids, you’ll be able to battle Kirlia, which will know the move Draining Kiss, and Shinx – both of which will be wearing top hats.

Your Pokémon Go avatar hasn’t been left out of fashion week either, as, in the shop, you’ll be able to collect a free Longchamp inspired avatar item.

Finally, a number of Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild throughout the Longchamp event.

These Pokémon are:

  • Mareep
  • Skitty
  • Roselia
  • Kricketot
  • Croagunk wearing a backward cap
  • Blitzle
  • Cottonee
  • Minccino
  • Gothita

You might even find yourself catching a shiny Kricketot during the Longchamp event.
