Besides his excess of listings throughout his many years as a real estate agent on MDLLA, Josh has also made a few enemies and friends along the way. After Altman joined the series, he and Josh had a bit of a feud that lasted up until the current season. Now, the two Josh’s work together, as Flagg recently left his long-time real estate company, Rodeo Realty, for Douglas Elliman, his rival company, where Altman is also employed.

In an exclusive interview with Page Six, Josh revealed that Joan’s daughter Melissa gave him and his husband, Bobby, Cartier salt and pepper shakers that were once owned by Joan herself. Melissa offered Josh the gift while they were at his Beverly Hills home, where he was hosting a gala for the Project Angel Food organization. “She pulled them out of her bra. They’re from the 1930s, and they were her mother Joan Rivers,’ so they’re very special,” Josh revealed to the news outlet. “One of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received from the queen of entertaining @joanrivers,” Josh wrote in his caption alongside a photo of the Page Six article. Singer Taylor Dayne performed for a crowd of about 120 guests, including former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof, Flipping Out’s Jeff Lewis, Josh’s co-star Josh Altman, and onetime Studio 54 fixture Nikki Haskell.

During an interview with Page Six, Nikki, who was a close friend of Joan’s, said the comedian “would’ve loved Josh. It’s like he’s following in Joan’s footsteps.” As a fan of Joan’s for many years, Josh was ecstatic and touched to receive such a sentimental heirloom from her daughter.
