There are a number of ways to enchant an item. These all involve crafting or finding special workspaces for imbuing items with certain abilities. Enchanted items can always be found in the world. They are often sold by merchants and are especially found in chests within temples and within dungeons. If players want to Enchant an item, they will need to find either an Anvil or an Enchanting Table.

An Enchanting Table is the primary way to create Enchanted items. They can be crated by combining Obsidian with Diamonds and a Book. This table can be used by placing a tool and a special item in their respective slots and selecting the desired effect. Anvils are used in a similar way, but only work to improve tools and armor. Anvils can be crafted by combining Iron Blocks with Iron Ingots. Unfortunately, this particular Enchantment can’t be placed on an item by the player. Mending is considered a Treasure Enchantment. Treasure Enchantments are only able to be found within chests or purchased. They are typically more powerful than other kinds of Enchantments and are rare. To find the Mending Enchantment, find a merchant that is selling it. This item will go for three times the usual price of other Enchantments. Lucky players can also find this item in Raids and Chests.
