Mini Secretlab Chair Turns April Fools Joke Into Reality

Secretlab has turned its April Fools’ joke into reality by actually launching a mini version of its TITAN gaming chair. Last April, the company shared the TITAN XXXXXS as a gag. The concept chair is a small version of its popular chair that the company supposedly designed for children and pets.

Secretlab is known for its range of gaming chairs that includes a large number of special editions. These feature design collaborations with popular video games, shows, and other media franchises, such as League of Legends and Game of Thrones. Most recently, the company released Superman & The Flash Secretlab gaming chairs in time for the DC FanDome event last October.

Secretlab has now announced that it’s actually releasing the mini chair, officially calling it the TITAN XXS (Extra Extra Small). The chair is a 1:2 scale version of the company’s regular TITAN chair, with child-safe features that have gained the chair international child safety certifications. Secretlab has upped its customized testing standards for the TITAN XXS, and it comes with child-friendly locking casters that can support weights of up to 70kg. Like the company’s other chairs, the height of the TITAN XXS can be adjusted, and it’s also equipped with height-adjustable armrests.

While the TITAN XXS utilizes the chair’s 2020 version for its design, the company has created it using the same materials as its latest Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 series, including its Secretlab NEO Hybrid Leatherette and SoftWeave Plus fabric. The NEO Hybrid Leatherette version of the TITAN XXS is available in Stealth while the SoftWeave Plus fabric variant comes in either Plush Pink or Frost Blue. Since the TITAN XXS is meant to be a collectible product, it’s only available in limited quantities and is unfortunately ineligible for returns or refunds, as well as discount codes or referral links. Thankfully, Secretlab has backed the new chair with its 5-year warranty.

While gaming chairs have been Secretlab’s primary product, it has since expanded its lineup of products. Last April, the company released its Secretlab Magnus Metal Desk that features built-in RGB lighting and cable management. Users can even purchase additional accessories for it to improve both its lighting and cable management. Secretlab has also launched its own lineup of office chairs under its new Neuechair brand.

Most of the time hardware manufacturers that show off fun and unusual concept products during April Fools don’t actually turn the joke into reality and release it. So seeing Secretlab release the TITAN XXS miniature chair because of the enthusiasm and demand that the company’s fans expressed is pretty impressive, even if it remains a limited collectible product.
