To celebrate the 80th anniversary of Batman, Mitch Gerads, the comic book artist behind Mister Miracle and The Sheriff of Babylon, has designed an exclusive t-shirt. It’s one of the Official 2019 Comic-Con International t-shirts and will be available at the San Diego convention later this month.

The shirt will retail for between $19.34 and $29.04, and will be on sale at the Comic-Con merchandise stand. You can also pre-order it online, then collect your order in person at the convention. Attendees are allowed one unchangeable pre-order, and it is stressed that items will not be shipped.

The design, shown below, features a retro looking Batman jumping into action.

Gerads is a great choice for a Batman design, having previously worked as an artist on some Batman comics. His work includes Batman #62 and Batman #15, both of which he is credited as a cover artist.

The Batman t-shirt is 1 of 8 different designs, all of which will be exclusively available to attendees of San Diego Comic-Con.

These other designs celebrate 50 International Comic-Cons and include 5 retro themed Comic-Con logo designs, one for each decade from the 1970’s to 2010’s. Alongside these are a plain logo top, a toucan themed 50th anniversary top, and Gerads’ Batman design.

The official merchandise line up also includes 2 cap and hoodie designs, as well as tote bags, enamel pins, a water bottle, and a 40th Anniversary book about the history of Comic-Con. There’s also a toucan tiki mug, for those who prefer their drinking vessels to be less mainstream.

Batman will also be making several other appearances at the convention. LEGO is celebrating his 80th anniversary with a SDCC Batman set. Convention attendees will have to enter a submission of interest for the chance to purchase the exclusive set.

Mattel is also releasing Comic-Con exclusive items. The first is, “The Strange Lives of Batman,” a set of four figures capturing Batman’s most infamous costumes, including Rainbow Batman.

There will also be an exclusive Batman Hot Wheels set, featuring a Batmobile, armored shell, and die-cast figure of Michael Keaton’s Batman.

Comic-Con International in San Diego begins Thursday July 18 and runs until Sunday July 21.
