A fan-made roster for MultiVersus imagines the crossover title’s roster to include characters like Harry Potter, Godzilla, Willy Wonka and more. The upcoming platform fighting game combines popular Warner Bros. properties such as DC Comics, Game of Thrones and Scooby Doo. An official reveal trailer for MultiVersus recently confirmed the heavily-rumored title as well as revealing a portion of its bizarre line-up of characters.
On the surface, MultiVersus seems to borrow heavily from other crossover fighting games such as Super Smash Bros. and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Combat is focused on damaging enemies using basic and special attacks, and falling off the stage results in a knock-out. The large roster of characters from separate franchises also begs comparison, but MultiVersus promises to put a unique spin on the popular genre. The game will be free-to-play, with additional characters and stages being added after release. Teamwork is also an emphasis, with the game’s primary 2v2 mode letting players capitalize on moves that support their partner. While the roster will inevitably grow, MultiVersus’ list of confirmed playable characters already features beloved characters such as Batman, Bugs Bunny, Adventure Time’s Jake and Finn and Scooby Doo’s powerful warrior Shaggy.
A theoretical full roster for MultiVersus, created by Reddit user Eclipse_58008, includes some of WB’s most beloved characters. The roster includes characters who were previously leaked but not included in the game’s reveal trailer, such as Rick and Morty’s Rick Sanchez and The Lord of the Rings’ Gandalf. Eclipse_58008 then includes a number of Warner Bros’ most popular figures, though none of the choices seem particularly unrealistic. The Joker, Harry Potter, Godzilla, Robocop, Daffy Duck and Neo all make an appearance in the custom character select screen. LeBron James’ cartoon persona from Space Jam: A New Legacy may seem like an unusual choice, though, as do Willy Wonka and Dio from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

As with other crossover fighting games, MultiVersus seeks to authentically adapt each of its wildly different characters into one gaming experience. This level of detail is achieved by including many of the characters’ original or most popular voice actors, such as Kevin Conroy for Batman or Matthew Lilliard as Shaggy. MultiVersus also includes alternate costumes which pay homage to each character’s fictional history. These alternative appearances include Black Lantern Superman, opera singer Bugs Bunny, animated series Batman and Sherlock Holmes skins for Tom and Jerry.
As the latest addition to the crossover fighting game craze, MultiVersus boasts an already-impressive roster of fictional figures. However, fans are no doubt excited to see what other characters show their faces in the platform fighting title. Eclipse_58008’s concept roster manages to be quite realistic, with every featured character falling under the Warner Bros. umbrella. While fighters like Joker, Harry Potter and Godzilla could appear quite realistically, other inclusions such as Lebron James and Willy Wonka may be a bit more far-fetched.
