Fans of My Big Fat Fabulous Life will forever believe that Chase Severino is still the show’s villain, no matter how many wholesome posts he shares on his social media. Since walking away from My Big Fat Fabulous Life, Chase has been concentrating on being a father to his daughter, Aurora. While he may be putting the past behind him, fans can’t seem to forget how he treated Whitney Thore.
Whitney and Chase met on New Year’s Eve 2018 and started dating shortly after hitting it off. Cameras caught the start of their relationship for My Big Fat Fabulous Life season 6. Their love connection seemed to happen so quickly that, before fans knew it, Chase proposed to Whitney atop the Eiffel Tower seven months later. The big question was caught and aired in season 8. Fans were never convinced that Chase was the one, but after it was revealed that he cheated on Whitney, he fell out of the fans’ good graces forever.
To those who happen to follow Chase on Instagram, it very much feels like he is trying to set up a redemption storyline for himself. Chase is still living by the beach in Wilmington, North Carolina, and he recently shared a photoshoot with Aurora while playing in the leaves. While both of them looked like they were having a ball, some fans could still see through Chase’s game. The disgraced reality star appears to be posting calculated photos of himself in family-orientated photos throughout the months, including a matching Halloween costume, buying a new home, and enjoying a football game.

There are also multiple photos that show Chase as a father on social media, like one where he is on a pink flamingo swing with Aurora. Chase can be seen holding his daughter and making her laugh in the post. Surprisingly, the comments section seems to be more filled with well-wishes now. So, one could argue that Chase’s wholesome campaign is actually working out for him. It is almost as if followers have forgotten about his misdeeds toward Whitney.
Chase was spotted on My Big Fat Fabulous Life season 8 for one episode. He chose to tell Whitney that he was engaged to Sara Jackson. Fans felt the appearance wasn’t needed and that Chase probably wanted another paycheck from the show. For now, it looks like both Whitney and Chase have moved on. Hopefully, Chase has learned a valuable lesson and continues to strive towards his new wholesome image.
