New Pokemon from Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon have leaked online, including what’s said to be the final form of the Legendary Pokemon Necrozma. A series of leaked images claiming to be sourced from copies of the game sold early has led to a wave of new information from the upcoming RPGs. With just over a week until Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon’s release and Nintendo staying quiet, eager Pokemon fans are excited about every new detail.

Leakers have been able to reveal eight new Pokemon, three of which are different forms of the new games’ antagonist Pokemon Necrozma. The eight Pokemon are named Poipole, Naganadel, Stakataka, Blacephalon, Zeraora, and then Necrozma’s different forms. Two of the forms depend on the version of the Pokemon, with Necrozma controlling either Solgaleo or Lunala. The third form is known as Ultra Necrozma, an intimidating Pokemon indeed.

• Poipole: This Ultra Beast is well enough liked to be chosen as a first partner in its own world.
• Naganadel: It stores hundreds of liters of poisonous liquid inside its body. It is one of the organisms known as UBs.
• Stakataka: It appeared from an Ultra Wormhole. Each one appears to be made up of many life-forms stacked one on top of each other.
• Blacephalon: It slithers toward people. Then, without warning, it triggers the explosion of its own head. It’s apparently one kind of Ultra Beast.
• Zeraora: It electrifies its claws and tears its opponents apart with them. Even if they dodge its attack, they’ll be electrocuted by the flying sparks.

The leaked Pokemon details may be unofficial rumors for now, but there’s a diverse range of sources from within the community corroborating the information’s veracity. There’s still a possibility that Nintendo will share more details on new Pokemon for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon in the days ahead, but fans may end up having to wait until the game is in their hands to know the full truth.

Fans are already speculating regarding just what Ultra Necrozma’s type. Its base form is Psychic, with each of its version-specific forms taking on the secondary types of Steel (Solgaleo) or Ghost (Lunala). Ultra Necrozma appears to abandon the secondary type of its two secondary forms. It retains its main typing, Psychic, but then picks up the secondary type: Dragon. Underneath all of that armor lies a very angry Psychic/Dragon.

These leaks are purportedly coming from review copies of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon. A review copy was then used by a modder to upload the game online, where fans could then dig through the game’s code using 3DS emulators. For those trying to stay away from story spoilers, now’s the time to begin avoiding Pokemon-related social media.
