SpongeBob is now an Xbox Series X to celebrate the launch of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, and we’re not sure how we feel about it.

The designs of new consoles and their accompanying controllers are always intricately dissected when first revealed. When the PS5 was unveiled to the world, the ensuing memes compared it to a spaceship and poked fun at its size. One year on we still can’t get over how big it is.

However, other than it being a little bit boring and sort of looking like a really expensive mini-fridge, the Xbox Series X was hardly mocked at all. It would appear Xbox feels left out as to celebrate the launch of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, it is giving away a SpongeBob Squarepants-themed Series X. Not a console with a similar color scheme to SpongeBob, but a Series X that has been designed to look exactly like the Nickelodeon character.

You can check it out above and as you can see, it’s quite something. It’s not available to buy, no matter how much you’re willing to shell out. The same goes for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Series X that will go to the second winner drawn out of the hat. You can enter the competition to win the unique consoles by simply following the Xbox Twitter account and retweeting the tweet showcasing the vibrant consoles.

Each one also comes complete with a one-of-a-kind Xbox controller. The SpongeBob one is particularly inspired as it is designed for his pupils to be the right analog stick and the A button. If you can handle having something that bright sitting for all to see wherever you do your gaming then enter now.

The SpongeBob Series X might not look as sleek as the Halo Infinite consoles that went up for pre-order earlier this year but it is a hell of a lot rarer. The console will presumably be the only one ever made which means if you win it, you’ll be the only one who can legitimately say they own one. It will also be a terrific conversation starter even when not in use. Whether the ensuing conversation will be good or bad ultimately depends on the company you keep.
