Paris In Love star Paris Hilton has tied the knot with entrepreneur Carter Reum during night one of her three-day wedding celebration. Paris announced her engagement in February 2021 when Carter proposed to the hotel heiress on a private island. On November 11, the star’s newest reality special, Paris In Love, premiered on Peacock. The series follows Paris and Carter’s engagement as the reality TV star deals with her past and plans her dream wedding.
Paris had been publicly discussing her wedding plans after announcing her engagement. In August, the former star of The Simple Life confirmed she planned on having 10 outfit changes. Paris also expected guests to have a change of clothes in order to fit the various themes of the three-day ceremony. However, she did admit that her husband would not have such extravagant costumes as he is not as high maintenance as she is.
On November 11, Paris’ favorite angel number, the couple exchanged vows at the heiress’ late grandfather’s Bel Air estate on the first day of the three-day wedding event. According to Page Six, the extravaganza kicked off at the mansion and will be followed by a carnival on the Santa Monica Pier on Friday and a black-tie event on Saturday. Paris and Carter reportedly swayed back and forth when it came to choosing venues for the ceremony but ultimately decided that Barron’s home was the perfect spot. Paris was accompanied by her bridesmaids: Halle Hammond, Tessa Gräfin von Walderdorff, Whitney Davis and Farrah Aldjufrie. The four girls wore custom pink Alice + Olivia gowns.
It wouldn’t be a Paris wedding without a star-studded guest list. Some of the invitees included actress Emma Roberts, singer Bebe Rexha, singer-dancer Paula Abdul, designer Rachel Zoe and Alice + Olivia CEO Stacey Bendet. Sources also confirmed that Keeping Up With Kardashians star Kim Kardashian attended the wedding ceremony. Paris wore a custom Oscar de la Renta dress for the ceremony, which she designed with designers Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim.
Paris has always been unapologetically high maintenance, so fans should expect nothing less than an extravagant wedding of the century from the star. The Paris In Love star has always embraced her femininity, expressing her love for the color pink and comparing herself to a princess. A three-day wedding event is only appropriate for the star. What’s most important is that Paris has gone through a lot with her personal life and past relationships, which she revealed in her 2020 documentary, This Is Paris. Now Paris finally gets to live happily ever after with someone she refers to as her “prince charming.”
