Lock Keepers are not found within their respective Jails but are instead found in Trauma Rooms outside of the Jail. Unlike most of the other bosses in the game, these fights are not repeatable. We’ve got everything you need to know about defeating the Sendai Jail Lock Keeper right here.

Affinities And Weaknesses:

Take a good stock of medicine into the battle in case you find yourself in a tough spot; HP/SP recovery items are a must, and a few Revives would be useful too. Prepare your party by selecting characters who will do the most damage — so take Fox and Sophie with you. Then just choose a decent character for your fourth party member, whoever is best equipped/leveled. Ensure you take an Ice, Bless, and/or Curse-based Persona in for Joker. Having a healing Persona on hand is useful too.

When the battle begins, make sure that you buff your party members and then throw some debuffs on the Sword Lock Keeper. This will make the battle a little easier. Focus on targeting this boss’s weaknesses and follow up with a Technical hit if you are able to inflict a status ailment such as Freeze. Whenever you deplete its down gauge, take advantage of the All-Out Attack too.

The Sword Lock Keeper can teleport around the arena in a similar way to the Shibuya Lock Keeper, so watch out for this and try and time your attacks so that they won’t be wasted on a disappearing enemy. Be on the lookout for sneak attacks as a result of this too. It will also summon adds throughout the fight, so take these out quickly so that you don’t get overwhelmed, which can be particularly damaging to your health if you’ve been hit by a status ailment.

This boss will use Physical attacks against your party and they hit hard, so try and dodge them if you can. It’s also capable of inflicting Dizzy and Rage on your characters, so heal any status ailments before they get hit with a Physical attack and take Technical damage.

Make good use of Baton Pass and use Show Time whenever it is available. Make sure that Joker has an Ice, Bless, or Curse-based Persona equipped when using Show Time with him.
