FIFA 22’s first FUT season is already live for reviewers playing the game, offering up a very early look at the rewards on offer.

FIFA 22 is almost upon us with just a week and a half to go until it officially replaces FIFA 21. However, a lucky few reviewing the game already have their hands on a copy and have been hard at work crafting their Ultimate Team before everyone else arrives. FUT’s first season is already live even though FIFA 22 hasn’t officially launched, which means we’ve already had a first look at its rewards.

FIFA 22’s first FUT season will offer 30 rewards in total and you will have from launch until 1 pm ET on November 15, 2021. to unlock them Season one’s rewards probably won’t blow you away, but that’s no surprise as your FUT is supposed to improve gradually over the course of the year.

Badges, balls, packs, and even a stadium theme when you hit reward 29 are all in there. However, the biggest rewards tend to come when you have to choose from a very specific group of players. In fact, the first time you are faced with one of those choices comes right away with reward number one. Unlock it and you will have to choose whether you want to add Phil Foden, Hernandez, or Joao Felix to your ranks via a gold rare loan.

EA has already confirmed that a FUT feature added to FIFA 21 will remain in place for FIFA 22. Preview packs, a feature that was added to stave off those who want FUT’s packs to be reclassified as gambling, which would be detrimental for EA. Preview packs allow you to see what’s inside them before you hand over any money. The only catch is that if you decide not to buy it, you then can’t see inside of a new preview pack for 24 hours.

The other big reveals in the build to FIFA 22’s launch have revolved around player ratings. It was revealed that Lionel Messi will be the game’s highest-rated player at 93, Robert Lewandowski comes in second with 92, and Cristiano Ronaldo has to settle for joint-third with a rating of 91. You can now check out the ratings of FIFA 22’s 100 best-rated players, and will likely have to wait until launch to find out the rest.
