Pokémon BDSP Every Pokemon Swarm Location (& What They Do)

Pokémon Swarms make a return in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. This is a mechanic in the Pokémon series where players are able to witness multiple Pokémon at once. This can either mean battling multiple Pokémon within a single battle or a specific set of Pokémon will appear in a single location. In the case of Pokémon BDSP, players are able to see Swarm Pokémon appear in the overworld. Normally, the game only allows players to see overworld Pokémon in the Underground.

Players will unlock access to Pokémon Swarms after they learn how to get the National Dex. Players can do this by visiting Professor Rowan in Sandgem Town and speaking with him after finding all 151 Sinnoh Pokémon. Eventually, Professor Oak will enter the room and will give the layer the National Dex and the Poké Radar item. Now that the player has the National Dex, they can start looking for Pokémon Swarms.

After collecting the National Dex in Pokémon Diamond or Pearl, go speak with either Dawn or Lucas in Sandgem Town. They will recommend that the player speaks to their sister. Head by to Twinleaf Town and speak with them, she will mention that a Swarm of Pokémon is happening. All the Pokémon within these Swarms are Pokémon that are found outside of the Sinnoh Pokédex.

Unlocking Swarm Pokémon in Pokémon BDSP

The sister will tell the location of the first swarm in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl. The Pokémon in the first swarm will be different each time. Now, whenever the player pauses the game, it will display where a Swarm is currently happening. Players can go to these locations and will notice Pokémon appearing in the overworld grass. These will change each day so make sure to check what it is beforehand. These are the Pokémon players can find through Swarms.
