Finding the Amulet Coin can help trainers earn more money in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. This is a Held Item that can be given to the first member of the party. After players complete a battle, they are rewarded with prize money for their efforts. If the Pokémon holding the Amulet Coin is sent out to battle and wins, players will earn double the prize money. This money can then be reinvested in items at the PokéMart, like extra PokéBalls or Potions. The Amulet Coin is one of the best Held Items in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and will make the player’s initial playthrough much easier.

Like all the other Held Items in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, trainers will need to find the Amulet Coin before they can use it during battles. However, there is only ever one Amulet Coin available in the game at a time. If players are looking for duplicates, they can look into cloning their Pokémon and items. Trainers can also trade with another player who no longer wants their Amulet Coin. Trainers should aim to get at least two Amulet Coins to speed up the process of earning money in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. If trainers participate in a Double Battle with the first two Pokémon holding Amulet Coins, it’s possible to max out cash within a few battles.

Trainers will need to wait until they reach Amity Square in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl to get the Amulet Coin. In Amity Square, trainers are able to walk around an open park with their favorite Pokémon. It’s located within Hearthome City, where players will defeat Fantina to earn the fifth Gym Badge. Players can head to the north of the city to find Amity Square and travel east to find a staircase. They should continue to the north until they find two cave entrances. To find the Amulet Coin, players will need to look in the cave on the left. The Amulet Coin is a hidden item, so players will need to mash the ‘A’ button until the trainer picks it up.

Earning More Cash in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Now that the trainer has unlocked the Amulet Coin in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, they should give it to the Pokémon at the head of the party. Players can make more money fast in Pokémon BDSP with the Amulet Coin. On Route 210, there will be two green-haired Pokémon trainers that will challenge the player to a Double Battle. If players use the VS Seeker item, they will be able to challenge them to a rematch. The green-haired trainers only have two Pokémon, making this battle fast and easy to complete. Trainers can earn over 20,000 Pokédollars for each attempt.

If players are unable to obtain a second Amulet Coin in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, they can get the Luck Incense item instead. As another Held Item, it functions similarly to the Amulet Coin and increases payouts at the end of the battle. Toward the end of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, players should have more money than they can spend. Fortunately, even after becoming Champion, there are still tons of places in the Sinnoh region for players to invest their cash to make the most out of BDSP.
