Pokémon BDSP Where To Find The Miracle Seed Item (& What It Does)

The Miracle Seed is one of the many Held Items in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl that give players an advantage in battle. With hundreds of different Held Items to collect, it can be challenging to determine which items work best for different Pokémon. Some may work best in battle by increasing HP like the Leftovers, while other items can help boost a Pokémon’s XP growth, like the Lucky Egg. Trainers who choose to have a Grass-type Pokémon should try finding the Miracle Seed item. This item is essential for players who selected Turtwig, the Grass-type starter, as their Pokémon partner.

The Miracle Seed is a Held Item that will boost the power of any Grass-type moves by 10%. While this might not be a significant increase, this item is incredibly useful during the early game. Grass-type moves are strongest against Ground, Rock, and Water-type Pokémon. Although these moves are weak against Bug, Dragon, Fire, Flying, Grass, Poison, and Steel-type Pokémon, some players may want to have a balanced team of different types of Pokémon. In contrast, others are more interested in recruiting their favorites. Regardless, the Miracle Seed will make Grass-type Pokémon a lot better.

There are two different ways to get the Miracle Seed. The first is by going to Floaroma Meadow in Floaroma Town, near the same location where players can find and catch Drifloon on Fridays. The Miracle Seed will be an interactive item in the northwesternmost corner of Floaroma Meadow. Fortunately, Pokémon BDSP does give players an option to earn multiple Miracle Seeds if they wish. It can be helpful in a situation where players have multiple Grass-types on their team. Not only that, but it can be a pain to switch back and forth between a single Miracle Seed constantly.

Trainers can find more Miracle Seeds with a bit more time and patience. The Miracle Seed has a 5% chance of being held by a wild Cherubi or Cherrim that can be caught using the Honey Tree method. There are 21 different Honey Trees scattered around the Sinnoh region where players can slather Honey. Upon returning to the tree within six to 20 hours, Cherubi and Cherrim have a 5% to 20% chance of spawning in the tree. It can also appear within the Grand Underground in Sunlit Cavern or Grassland Cave.

Trainers can capture every Cherubi and Cherrim they encounter to find the Miracle Seed. Although, players can also use the move ‘Thief’ if available. This move allows players to steal the Held Item from an opponent Pokémon. The Thief move can help trainers save time and space within the player’s PC storage. In addition, the Miracle Seed can be helpful to Grass-type trainers.
