Pokémon Crown Tundra Best Things to Do After Beating The DLC

There’s still so much to do after completing the Pokemon Crown Tundra DLC. Here are the best things to do after finishing the base DLC. Pokemon Crown Tundra is the final piece to complete the Galar region. The Pokemon: Sword & Shield expansion pass released with over 200 Pokemon from previous generations, new legendary Pokemon, new locations to explore, and new story scenarios for the players to experience. This is the first time in the series where a mainline title has received paid DLC and will likely not be the last moving forward. Even though you’ve completed the Crown Tundra, there is still so much to do after beating the DLC. Here are the best things players can do to keep themselves occupied.

Pokemon: Sword & Shield has been a divisive entry in the Pokemon series due to the lack of a complete National Dex. While the National Dex was removed in previous generations, older games allowed players to carry all of their favorite Pokemon from earlier titles. For the first time ever since the third generation, players are unable to bring over every single Pokemon but rather a large majority of them. While many fan-favorites made the return through the DLC, many are still left behind, unable to make the leap to the Galar region. Although, the DLC has done a wonderful job of bringing over 200 of these classic Pokemon back to the world. Here’s what players can do after completing the Crown Tundra DLC.

Best Things To Do After Beating Pokemon Crown Tundra

There are plenty of hidden things to find and discover in the Crown Tundra. Here are the best things players can do after beating Pokemon Crown Tundra.

  • Hunt Legendary Pokemon in the Max Lair: Players can participate in the Max Lair with friends to capture legendary Pokemon from older generations like Giratina, Rayquaza, Heatran, and more. These Pokemon even have a 1/100 chance of being shiny for those players with a Shiny Charm.
  • The Swords of Justice: Players are able to locate all 4 Swords of Justice, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, and Keldeo, in the Crown Tundra. The player needs to find all of the hidden footsteps scattered around the Crown Tundra then speak with Sonia in Freezington. Collecting the first three will cause Keldeo to appear.
  • Complete Your Pokedex: Hunt every Pokemon down or trade with friends or use Pokemon Home. Capturing every Pokemon in the Crown Tundra will reward the player with a special replica crown, 50 Rare Candies, 3 Gold Bottle Caps, and a Certificate of Completion.
  • Collect Poipole: This Ultra Beast makes an appearance in the game only if the player captures 5 Ultra Beast in the Max Lair. It’s a fairly adorable and rare Pokemon for any trainers collection.
  • Capture Regigigas: The player will need all 5 Regi Pokemon in their party (Regirock, Registeel, Regice, Regidrago, Regieleki). Head over to Snowslide Slide to find a Max den with 4 rocks surrounding it. The player will then need to defeat Regigigas and capture it.

Pokemon Crown Tundra is one of the best parts of all of Galar. It brings back that feeling of mystery that the Pokemon series has been missing for so long. Discovering legendary Pokemon in strange and spectacle ways are always so rewarding every time it happens. Hopefully, the series can continue to build on the gameplay foundation left beyond by this DLC pack and truly push the Pokemon series to the heights it deserves to reach in the future.
