Players will be given an option between Glastrier and Spectrier in Pokemon Crown Tundra. This guide will show which of these steeds are the best the choose from. Pokemon Crown Tundra features new legendary Pokemon for the player to capture. Not only does it feature brand new legendary Pokemon like Calyrex, Glastrier, and Spectrier, but it also features Galarian versions of older Pokemon with Galarian Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres. In this location, the game features over 100 older Pokemon from previous generations like Zubat, Altaria, and Dragonite. There is much to experience in the Crown Tundra. Throughout the story, the player will be given an option to choose between one of two steeds for Calyrex. This guide will show which one will be the best.
Calyrex will task the player with planting Carrot Seeds to create a treat to draw back its loyal steed. Depending on where the player plants the Carrot Seed depends on the type of carrot that comes out of it. Planting the seed in the snow will draw in Glastrier, the Ice-type steed while planting near the old cemetery will bring in Spectrier, the Ghost-type horse. Regardless of which horse the player selects, it will fuse with Calyrex to create one of its final forms. For players wanting the best of the two steeds, this guide will show the better option.
The Best Choice Between Glastrier and Spectrier in Pokemon Crown Tundra
The player can only choose one during their time in the Crown Tundra. If the player wants to collect the other horse, the player will need to train with another player. Here’s what players can expect from each horse when it comes to stats.
- Glastrier: Focuses more on Defense, Special Defense, and HP with a high attack stat.
- Spectrier: Focuses more on Attack, Special Attack, and Speed stats.
Selecting Glastrier is the better option since it has universally high stats. While Spectrier is fast and packs quite a punch, its defense stat can get it eliminated quickly. Regardless, players can try and find a friend to trade for the missing horse or use the Pokemon Home GTS feature to find another player willing to trade around the globe.
Pokemon: Sword & Shield has come to a close with the release of its final DLC. There are currently no known plans for future DLC for the title but it is fairly unlikely. Game Freak will likely put their resources into a future entry of the series that the world will see within the next year. Regardless, the DLC has been a pleasant surprise for the Galar region and really made the region full of life and personality.
