‘A Colossal Discovery’ will work exactly like the other Special Research questlines, which have been released for Mythical Pokémon like Celebi and Jirachi.

The quest will be broken down into several steps, which will consist of three individual challenges. You’ll be rewarded for each individual challenge and step you complete.

Once you complete them all, you’ll be given the opportunity to catch Regigigas – the Colossal Pokémon.

There is no restriction on when you can complete ‘A Colossal Discovery.’

If you don’t complete the Special Research by the end of the event, then the tasks will change to something less reliant on the Pokémon encounters and raids that occurred during the weekend of the event.
