The Power Plant event starts today in Pokemon GO and trainers have the rest of the month to experience the big event. There are a ton of exciting increased spawns and bonuses in place during the lengthy series of activities and trainers who are looking for a fight will find some new and exciting Battle Raid bosses available, as well.
The Power Plant event is a longer one, which means it is actually going to include a rotation midway through that features different Battle Raid bosses. Week 1 is already underway and features an exciting lineup of challengers (including Genesect at the top tier), but when January 24 rolls around the Pokemon GO Raid Boss list will rotate once again (for Tier 3 and Tier 5).
The list of bosses is a pretty strong one and includes a nice range of event-themed Pokemon. Druddigon is an interesting Tier 3 option that is likely going to get some attention and players who are still trying to track down a shiny Shinx might want to visit some Tier 1 battles, as well. Regice is the second week’s Tier 5 boss, so that one may not be quite as popular as its predecessor.

More details about what other activities and bonuses the second week will bring are still on the way. For now, week two is shrouded in mystery, but trainers should prepare for some Team GO Rocket battles if they want to be ready. There will likely be some new lineups amongts the Rocket grunts and bosses when week two arrives, so be sure to return to find the best counters once those details have been confirmed.
Players should learn much more about exact details of other activities throughout the early days of the Season of Heritage. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
