Summer is just beginning for some people, but for Pokémon GO trainers, it’s time to head into the snowy cold land of Sinnoh, or Generation IV. As the next Throwback event for GO, this installment has the same precedent of tasks as the past three have, with a few added special treats. This includes the addition of a shiny Glameow. In fact several of the reward Pokémon encounters now have a chance to appear as shinies. Gible, a Dragon/Ground-Type who evolves into the fan favorite Garchomp, is also available. Pokemon commonly found in Sinnoh will appear more frequently, including Snover, Kricketot, Buneary, and Croagunk. The starters Piplup, Chimchar, and Turtwig will of course be spawning as well. First Task List
- Capture 3 Water, Grass or Fire-Type Pokémon (10 Pokeballs)
- Power up a Pokémon with Candy (Encounter with Burmy (s) at random form)
- Take a picture of a Rock-Type Pokémon (500 Stardust)

Second Task List
- Snap a photo of a Grass-Type Pokémon (5 Razz Berries)
- Send a gift to a friend (Combee battle)
- Capture a Grass-Type Pokémon (500 Stardust)
Group encounter: Grotle
Third Task List
- Make 3 Nice Throws during catch encounters (Magnetic Lure Module)
- Hatch one egg (Bronzor (s) encounter)
- Capture a Grass-Type Pokémon (500 Stardust)
Group encounter: Monferno
Fourth Task List
- Acquire one candy walking with your buddy (10 great balls)
- Capture a Ground-Type Pokémon (Skorupi (s) encounter)
- Capture a Water-Type Pokémon (500 stardust)
Group encounter: Prinplup
Fifth Task List
- Have a battle with another trainer (1 Charged TM)
- Use at least 3 three berries while catching Pokémon (Sinnoh Stone)
- Capture a Ghost-Type Pokémon (500 Stardust)

- Take a picture of one Steel-Type Pokémon (10 Ultra Balls)
- Share 3 treats with your buddy (Hippopotas (s) encounter)
- Capture a Steel-Type Pokémon (500 Stardust)

- Evolve one Pokémon (Gible (s) encounter)
- Receive one candy walking with your buddy (Glacial Lure Module)
- Capture one Ice-Type Pokémon (500 Stardust)

Eighth Task List
- Power up a Pokémon with Candy 3 times (Starpiece)
- Make 3 Great Throws during catch encounters (Fast TM)
- Capture an Electric-Type Pokémon (500 Stardust)
