Pokemon GO is a game that is all about getting out and exploring real world locations with other local players, so it’s no surprise the game is having to make some major adjustments in response to the social distancing protocols related to the coronavirus.

PoGO already delayed the upcoming Abra Community Day event that was scheduled for the weekend of March 15, but that’s not the only change. Pokemon GO is also bringing Cobalion and Lugia back outside of the originally announced Legendary Raid Weekend hours to make sure trainers have enough time to try and complete the encounters.

This change should help ensure that Battle Raid fans have some extra time to coordinate parties for taking down both Cobalion and Lugia safely and without putting themselves in danger. The original events were pretty limited in terms of time, so the extra days should make it make easier to find the time to revisit these old Legendary Raid Bosses.

“Cobalion and Lugia are returning to Raid Battles in Pokemon GO! We want to make sure Trainers have enough time to challenge these Legendary Pokemon, so both will be available for a longer time in raids. Please note the change in schedule below.”
