The holidays are starting early this year as Pokemon GO celebrates with its fans and friends by delivering not only one, but two Community Day events this November. Although the recurring event usually only occurs once per month, November will features two separate days, each of which will put the spotlight on a different Pokemon for players to track down throughout the day.

The first event, which takes place November 15 will celebrate Electabuzz. Later in the month, on November 21, Magmar will take over and players will have a chance to celebrate with the popular Fire-type Pokemon. Each event will have its own list of bonuses and features that should help offer Pokemon GO players plenty of motivation to get out and play on those chilly November weekends.

As always, each Community Day event will also offer the chance for players to pick up an exclusive moveset that isn’t available through the usual use of TMs. Most times these movesets are more powerful than what is available normally, or at least offers a unique new moveset combination that would be helpful for particular match ups.

This time around, both Electabuzz and Magmar are both getting an exciting new move that PvE and PvP fans will be happy to have in their arsenals…

Players should be sure to keep in mind that they need to evolve their Pokemon during the event window in order to obtain the exclusive move. The best approach is usually to catch as many Pokemon as possible during the event, keeping all the three star appraisals, and then evolve the best IV Pokemon (or two) at the end of the event.

If players are lucky, they may even be able to find a 100% IV spawn at some point during the event. For the best chance of obtaining a 100% spawn, players should find their local communities Discord or chat group. Usually there is a channel dedicated to calling out 100% sightings in these chats, especially during Community Day events.

As the events approach, keep an eye out for more guides and other details. If each event features a ticketed Special Research storyline, check back for the full list of tasks and rewards closer to the start time of each event.

For now, Pokemon GO trainers should be able to head out into the world (or play from home) and continue catching the best Unova Pokemon in the game and getting closer to that complete Pokedex. Check back for more Pokemon GO updates closer to the event. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
