Pokemon GO players may not be able to roam around their cities with big groups of friends just yet, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be taking part in any Legendary Battle Raids this month. The mobile AR game’s Remote Raid Passes allow players to raid at nearby Gyms and the next Legendary rotation is going to provide some great motivation to take part in those battles.

Starting tomorrow, Pokemon GO players will have a chance to battle against the Legendary Pokemon Terrakion in five star Battle Raids. That news combined with two upcoming Raid Hours is likely going to help Pokemon GO sell a lot of the Remote Raid Passes this over the next few weeks.

The upcoming rotation will send Giratina out of the spotlight and bring in Terrakion starting on May 13. This week’s Raid Hour will feature Virizion and Niantic also went on to confirm that the hour-long event on May 20 will feature Terrakion.

“Terrakion is coming back to five-star raids! This time, you might encounter a Shiny Terrakion if you’re lucky. Before Terrakion returns, there’ll be a Raid Hour featuring Virizion this Wednesday, May 13, 2020, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. local time. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Virizion!

The ability to raid remotely is available to Trainers level 5 and above! With a Remote Raid Pass, you’ll be able to join a Raid Battle that you can see on the Nearby screen or tap on the map. You can pick up a Remote Raid Pass in the shop.”

Terrakion will be in five-star raids.

If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Terrakion!

Raid Hour

In addition, there will be a Raid Hour featuring Terrakion. On Wednesday, May 20, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, raids featuring Terrakion will be happening more frequently.

That’s a lot of exciting Legendary Raiding to get ready for, so players should review their lineups for the best counters and get ready for battle.

For now, players may want to keep hunting down the best Unova Pokemon in the game if improving their Battle Raid rosters is their primary goal. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
