This energy is used to grow seedlings into Pikmin, while nectar causes them to bloom into different colors. While other AR games have attempted to capitalize on the success of Pokémon GO since its launch five years ago, none have managed to truly compete with it. The combination of Niantic’s solid gameplay and the strong appeal of the Pokémon franchise gave the app an unbeatable edge.
